The Capitol Area Warbirds Airshow (CAWS) is Northeastern New York's largest annual aeromodeling event featuring military themed radio controlled model aircraft. aircraft from WWI and WWII, the Korean and Vietnam eras, and even today's modern jets excite aviation fans at CAWS. .jpg)   Spectators are treated to some of the countries top RC pilots at CAWS, and each day the airshow takes a mid-day break, where CAWS is hosted at the South Albany Airport in Selkirk New York. The airport is a great airshow location offering a grass runway for conventional warbirds and a paved runway for turbine powered jets. A complete assortment of food is provided by our food vendor and of course you're welcome to bring your own picnic items as well. Parking at CAWS is free and ample portable rest rooms are provided. Bring the whole family and don't forget to bring your camera. CAWS is a once a year aviation event!
